Eleven new buildings and a 1.5 billion dollar project is the word on the streets regarding a new downtown Portland development. Luke Hammill, of The Oregonian/Oregon Live covered the story this week. The story talks about how the Goodman family hopes to add 11 buildings which will house grocery stores, office space, shops and residential units. The land they’re looking at is between the Burnside and Morrison bridges. They plan to build up the flat spaces and if completed as projected the new buildings will be the tallest in the city.
